Coffee Socials run on the second and fourth Friday each month, excluding holidays, in the Grade School kitchen unless posted otherwise in the school newsletter. Everyone is welcome!

PAC will host a virtual ‘meet the candidates’ event facilitated via Zoom.

Our rhythmic VWS Winter Fair will be different this year. We know changes are disruptive to many, so we are hoping to be as fast and upfront as possible in communicating the planning of the Winter Fair.

Independent schools, like the VWS, are inspected by the BC Ministry of Education every six years as part of our accreditation process. This in-depth, multi-faceted assessment has been scheduled for the week after our Winter Fair. Therefore, the Parent Committee and the School's Management have decided to host the Winter Fair outside, in the grade school's "big field”, so that the classrooms can be ready. Everything will happen outside, including washrooms. The school will be closed. It will be a smaller fair, but it will hold the spirit and excitement of our beloved Winter Fair.

An amazing group of PAC members have formed the Winter Fair Steering Committee (WFSC) and are already working nonstop for our children. Please be patient; they don't have all the answers yet! They will keep the community posted through the class reps.
